Selections

This web site assumes the reader is familiar with making basic selections using the marquee, lasso and magic wand tools.  As a digital photographer, there are additional selection techniques you will want to know about.

The Color Channel topic covers turning color channels into selections.  The Color Range topic explains how to make selections by color range or tone.  The Saving Selections topic discusses how to store active selections as alpha channels.
